Junior Consultant - Cardiology

The Junior Consultant will provide cardiac care support for patients with chest pain, hypertension, heart disease, arrhythmia, heart failure, and other cardiovascular conditions. The includes reviewing ECG, ECHO, TMT, Holter, lab reports, and coordinating with ICU, emergency, cath lab, nursing, diagnostics, and pharmacy teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Examine OPD, IPD, emergency, and referred patients with cardiac complaints.
• Review ECG, ECHO, TMT, Holter, lab reports, cardiac imaging, and clinical findings.
• Support diagnosis and treatment planning for cardiac conditions under department protocol.
• Coordinate with ICU, emergency, cath lab, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and patient care teams.
• Monitor cardiac patients, treatment response, medication tolerance, and clinical progress.
• Assist in cardiac procedures or cath lab workflow as per expertise and scope.
• Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, medicine, procedure options, risk factors, and follow-up.
• Maintain consultation notes, prescriptions, procedure notes, and discharge documentation.
• Communicate urgent cardiac findings to senior consultants promptly.
• Follow cardiac care protocols, patient safety, infection control, and ethical practice.
• Support multidisciplinary care and clinical discussions.
• Deliver safe, accurate, and patient-centered cardiology services.
