Senior Registrar - Obstetrics and Gynaecology Job in Noida at Apollo Hospitals

Job Description

The Senior Registrar will take a responsible in managing OBG patients under consultant guidance. The candidate should support patient evaluation, treatment planning, emergency response, and clinical coordination while guiding junior team members when required. The requires strong clinical awareness, professional communication, and commitment to womens health and patient safety.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Attend obstetrics and gynaecology OPD, IPD, emergency, labour room, and ward patients.
  • Support antenatal care, postnatal care, gynecological assessment, clinical examination, and treatment planning.
  • Assist consultants during rounds, deliveries, procedures, surgeries, and emergency care.
  • Monitor maternal vitals, fetal status, investigations, treatment response, and clinical progress.
  • Guide junior doctors or clinical staff under senior supervision when required.
  • Maintain case sheets, consent forms, progress notes, procedure notes, and discharge summaries.
  • Coordinate with nursing, OT, labour room, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and billing teams.
  • Respond to obstetric and gynecological emergencies and escalate critical cases promptly.
  • Counsel patients and attendants under consultant guidance.
  • Follow patient safety, infection control, clinical protocols, and documentation standards.
  • Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and compassionate communication.
  • Ensure safe, ethical, and patient-centered OBG care support.
