Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide communication therapy, speech and language assessment, rehabilitation support, audiology coordination, patient counselling, and therapy documentation at Max Healthcare, Mumbai. This requires Bachelor or Master in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology with 1–6 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with speech delay, language difficulty, voice disorder, fluency issue, hearing-related communication problem, or swallowing concern.
• Design therapy sessions based on patient diagnosis, age, functional need, and rehabilitation goal.
• Provide speech therapy, language stimulation, voice therapy, communication practice, and caregiver training.
• Support neurological, pediatric, ENT, oncology, and rehabilitation patients with communication needs.
• Coordinate with consultants, therapists, nurses, audiologists, and patient care teams.
• Guide caregivers on daily therapy practice and communication support strategies.
• Record therapy sessions, patient progress, clinical observations, and follow-up plans.
• Maintain therapy room readiness, equipment hygiene, and patient comfort.
• Modify therapy plans as per patient improvement and clinical feedback.
• Follow ethical therapy practice, confidentiality, and hospital protocols.
• Communicate clearly with patients, attendants, and clinical teams.
• Provide safe, respectful, and patient-centered speech therapy care.
