Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech Language Pathologist will manage speech and language assessment, rehabilitation therapy, patient counselling, communication improvement, audiology coordination, and therapy documentation at Max Healthcare, Gurugram. This requires Bachelor or Master in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology with 1–6 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication assessments.
• Identify therapy needs for children, adults, neurological patients, and rehabilitation cases.
• Provide speech-language therapy sessions based on patient condition and therapy goals.
• Assist patients with articulation, language delay, voice concerns, swallowing support, and communication challenges.
• Coordinate with ENT, neurology, pediatric, rehabilitation, psychology, nursing, and patient care teams.
• Educate patients and caregivers about home practice, speech exercises, communication support, and follow-up.
• Maintain therapy notes, progress records, assessment forms, and treatment plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust therapy techniques based on clinical improvement.
• Support hearing and audiology-related rehabilitation when required.
• Maintain patient privacy, therapy area cleanliness, and professional communication.
• Follow hospital documentation, confidentiality, and ethical care standards.
• Deliver supportive, consistent, and patient-centered speech therapy services.
