Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech Language Pathologist will provide speech therapy, language rehabilitation, audiology-related support, patient assessment, therapy planning, and progress documentation at Max Healthcare, Mumbai. This requires Bachelor or Master in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology with 1–6 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing, and communication-related concerns.
• Prepare customized therapy plans for OPD, IPD, pediatric, adult, and rehabilitation patients.
• Provide structured speech therapy, language therapy, voice therapy, and communication training.
• Support patients with neurological disorders, developmental delays, hearing-related speech issues, and post-treatment rehabilitation needs.
• Coordinate with ENT, neurology, pediatrics, oncology, rehabilitation, nursing, and patient care teams.
• Counsel families regarding therapy expectations, home exercises, communication methods, and follow-up care.
• Maintain patient assessment forms, therapy records, progress notes, and reports.
• Track patient progress and revise therapy goals based on response.
• Support hearing rehabilitation and audiology coordination when required.
• Maintain therapy equipment, safe environment, and infection control standards.
• Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Deliver professional, compassionate, and goal-oriented speech language therapy.
