Front Office - Cashier

The Front Office - Cashier will handle patient billing support, cash collection, receipt generation, front desk coordination, enquiry handling, and patient guidance at Bhatia Hospital, Mumbai. This requires 12th Pass or B.Com qualification with 0–3 years of experience. The candidate should have basic computer knowledge, cash handling accuracy, polite communication, and ability to support front office workflow.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle patient cash, card, UPI, and billing payment collection as per hospital process.
• Generate receipts, payment entries, and billing records accurately.
• Support patient registration, OPD billing, investigation billing, and service payment coordination.
• Verify patient details, bill amount, discounts, receipts, and payment mode before processing.
• Guide patients and attendants regarding billing counter process and hospital services.
• Coordinate with front office, billing, accounts, OPD, diagnostics, and admission teams.
• Maintain cash records, daily collection summaries, and handover reports.
• Handle patient billing queries politely and escalate disputes to seniors.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
• Follow hospital cash handling, billing, and documentation SOPs.
• Maintain discipline, accuracy, and professional behavior at the front desk.
• Ensure smooth and transparent cashier service for patients.
