ICU Nursing Officer

Monilek Hospital & Research Centre, Jaipur is looking for a skilled ICU Nursing Officer to manage and monitor critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The candidate should have hands-on experience in critical care nursing, ventilator support, emergency response, patient monitoring, medication administration, and documentation. This requires clinical alertness, teamwork, compassion, and the ability to respond quickly to changing patient conditions in a high-pressure ICU environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Provide critical nursing care to ICU patients as per hospital protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen saturation, ECG, blood pressure, and overall patient condition.
• Assist doctors during ICU rounds, emergency procedures, and critical interventions.
• Manage ventilator care, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and airway support as required.
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency drugs safely.
• Maintain accurate ICU charts, nursing notes, medication records, and intake-output records.
• Identify early warning signs and immediately report critical changes to doctors.
• Support patients requiring post-operative care, cardiac monitoring, and intensive observation.
• Follow infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and patient safety guidelines.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, transfers, and emergency treatment.
• Coordinate with doctors, technicians, attendants, and other nursing staff for smooth ICU care.
• Provide emotional support and basic communication guidance to patient relatives.
• Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of ICU equipment and bedside areas.
• Give detailed patient handover during shift changes to maintain continuity of care.
• Maintain professional discipline, confidentiality, and quality standards in ICU nursing.
