Job Description

Dedicated Infection Control Nurse responsible for implementing infection prevention programs, monitoring healthcare-associated infections, and ensuring compliance with infection control standards. Skilled in surveillance, staff training, policy implementation, and clinical coordination. Experienced in promoting patient safety, conducting audits, and supporting healthcare teams in maintaining effective infection prevention practices.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor infection prevention and control programs.
  • Conduct surveillance of healthcare-associated infections and prepare reports.
  • Educate healthcare staff on infection control policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with hand hygiene and sterilization protocols.
  • Conduct infection control audits and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor isolation practices and infection prevention measures.
  • Coordinate with clinical departments during infection outbreaks.
  • Maintain records related to infection surveillance and reporting.
  • Assist in developing infection control guidelines and SOPs.
  • Investigate infection-related incidents and implement preventive measures.
