Technician - Critical Care Medicine

The Critical Care Technician will assist ICU and critical care teams in maintaining equipment readiness, supporting patient monitoring, and assisting during emergency and intensive care activities. The candidate should have knowledge of critical care medicine, ICU equipment, anaesthesiology support, emergency care, and medical equipment safety.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support ICU and critical care teams in daily technical activities.
• Check monitors, ventilator accessories, suction, oxygen, infusion pumps, and emergency equipment.
• Assist doctors and nurses during critical care procedures and emergency response.
• Monitor equipment function and report breakdowns or abnormal readings promptly.
• Support patient shifting, positioning, oxygen therapy, and critical care workflow.
• Maintain equipment logs, cleaning records, usage registers, and documentation.
• Coordinate with ICU, emergency, anaesthesia, biomedical, nursing, and pharmacy teams.
• Follow infection control, PPE, biomedical waste, and ICU safety protocols.
• Ensure equipment readiness during emergencies and critical patient care.
• Support safe, timely, and organized critical care services.
