Echo Technician

The Echo Technician will be responsible for performing echocardiography tests, assisting cardiologists, preparing patients, operating cardiac diagnostic equipment, and maintaining accurate test documentation. This requires Diploma or B.Sc qualification with cardiology diagnostic knowledge, patient handling skills, and attention to technical accuracy. The candidate will support timely cardiac evaluation and high-quality diagnostic services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform 2D Echo, Doppler, and related cardiac diagnostic procedures.
• Prepare patients for echo tests and explain the procedure clearly.
• Operate echocardiography machines and maintain equipment readiness.
• Capture accurate cardiac images as per cardiologist requirements.
• Assist cardiologists during cardiac diagnostic evaluations.
• Verify patient details, test requisition, and clinical history before procedure.
• Maintain echo reports, test records, logs, and documentation accurately.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and diagnostic department protocols.
• Identify urgent or abnormal findings and inform the cardiologist promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the echo room.
• Coordinate with OPD, IPD, ICU, emergency, and billing teams.
• Support timely reporting and smooth cardiology workflow.
