Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant is responsible for supporting dentists during procedures, maintaining dental hygiene, preparing instruments, assisting patient care, and managing dental department workflow. The requires dental assistant course or relevant qualification with 1 to 3 years of experience. Candidates should have knowledge of dental hygiene, dental support, clinical assistance, patient care, instrument handling, and infection control.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during dental procedures and examinations.
• Prepare dental instruments, materials, and treatment areas.
• Maintain dental hygiene and infection control standards.
• Support patient positioning and comfort during procedures.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments as per protocol.
• Maintain dental records, treatment notes, and appointment details.
• Coordinate with patients for procedure preparation and follow-up.
• Manage dental consumables and report low-stock items.
• Support dental X-ray or diagnostic coordination when required.
• Follow biomedical waste and clinic safety guidelines.
• Communicate politely with patients and attendants.
• Ensure smooth, safe, and patient-friendly dental department support.
