Manager - Engineering and Maintenance(Corporate)

The Manager – Engineering and Maintenance will be responsible for managing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all hospital services and utilities. This involves planning and executing engineering projects, managing resources, ensuring compliance, and optimizing operational efficiency while maintaining high standards of safety and sustainability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Oversee complete engineering activities, including maintenance of building, utilities, and critical services.
• Ensure smooth execution of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs.
• Prepare and monitor PM (Preventive Maintenance) schedules and checklists for all critical areas and services.
• Maintain master/history cards for major services and ensure timely updates.
• Record and track breakdowns and corrective actions through logbooks.
• Ensure calibration schedules for all critical metering and gauges are adhered to.
• Manage spares, consumables, and inventory for engineering operations.
• Implement energy conservation measures and optimize utilization of resources.
• Plan and manage expansion of services, facilities, and interiors to meet hospital standards.
• Handle project planning, budgeting, contract finalization, and timely project completion.
• Prepare annual budgets for all engineering activities and monitor expenditures.
• Ensure availability and renewal of licenses for specific services.
• Recommend additions or changes to services and facilities to enhance hospital functionality and aesthetics.
• Assess technical manpower requirements and coordinate with service agencies for deployment.
• Enhance capacity and capability of engineering teams to meet hospital requirements.
