Job Description

The Patient Care Executive will be responsible for managing patient interactions from admission to discharge, ensuring comfort, satisfaction, and timely service. This involves handling patient queries, coordinating appointments, guiding patients through hospital processes, and resolving concerns efficiently. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining professionalism and patient-centric service.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for patients and attendants during their hospital journey.
  • Assist patients with registration, admission, and discharge processes.
  • Coordinate appointments, consultations, and follow-ups with doctors.
  • Provide clear information about hospital services, procedures, and policies.
  • Handle patient inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure timely resolution of patient concerns and escalate issues when required.
  • Guide patients through various departments such as billing, diagnostics, pharmacy, and wards.
  • Maintain continuous communication with patients to ensure comfort and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with clinical and non-clinical teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor patient flow and ensure minimal waiting time.
  • Support patients with documentation, forms, and insurance-related processes.
  • Ensure proper patient feedback collection and maintain satisfaction records.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and service requests.
  • Assist in organizing patient engagement activities and awareness programs.
  • Ensure adherence to service quality standards and hospital protocols.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information.
  • Support discharge planning and ensure smooth exit process.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and support services for patient comfort.
  • Assist in handling VIP or international patient services when required.
  • Maintain professionalism, grooming, and communication standards.
  • Work in shifts including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Participate in training programs and service quality initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve patient experience through proactive engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with NABH and hospital service standards.
  • Assist in handling emergency situations with calmness and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with billing and insurance teams for patient support.
  • Maintain discipline, punctuality, and accountability.
  • Contribute to improving patient satisfaction and hospital reputation.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and process enhancement.
  • Support overall operational efficiency and patient-centric care delivery.
