Executive

The Executive - Operations IP will support inpatient operations, admission coordination, discharge follow-up, patient movement, interdepartmental communication, service tracking, and floor-level workflow at Gleneagles Hospital, Chennai. This requires any degree qualification with 3–5 years of hospital operations experience. There are 3 vacancies for this position.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support daily inpatient operations across wards, ICU, rooms, discharge desk, billing, and support areas.
• Coordinate patient admission, transfer, shifting, discharge, and inpatient service requirements.
• Track pending reports, doctor orders, investigation requests, billing clearance, pharmacy returns, and discharge process.
• Coordinate with nursing, doctors, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, housekeeping, and patient care teams.
• Handle patient and attendant queries politely and escalate unresolved concerns to seniors.
• Maintain inpatient trackers, discharge trackers, coordination logs, and daily operational reports.
• Monitor patient flow, waiting time, room readiness, discharge TAT, and service delays.
• Support communication between clinical and non-clinical departments for smooth IP workflow.
• Identify operational issues, workflow gaps, and patient service concerns and report promptly.
• Follow hospital SOPs, patient privacy, safety, and service quality standards.
• Support patient experience improvement through timely coordination.
• Ensure smooth, organized, and patient-friendly inpatient operations.
