Senior Associate - Admission and Billing

We are hiring a Senior Associate - Admission and Billing for the Admission and Billing department at Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru. The candidate will manage patient admission formalities, billing coordination, documentation, payment support, and discharge billing assistance. The requires hospital billing knowledge, patient coordination skills, accuracy, and experience in handling admission and billing processes.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Handle patient admission registration, documentation, and billing formalities.
• Verify patient details, doctor information, room category, and admission requirements.
• Generate admission records, billing files, and required patient documents accurately.
• Explain admission process, billing estimates, payment terms, and documentation needs.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing, ward, finance, insurance, and discharge teams.
• Process billing entries for hospital services, packages, procedures, and consumables.
• Support cashless, corporate, and self-payment billing coordination when required.
• Track advance payments, pending bills, and patient account status.
• Assist patients and attendants with billing queries and payment clarification.
• Support discharge billing by coordinating approvals, final bills, and clearances.
• Maintain accurate billing records, receipts, forms, and audit documents.
• Ensure compliance with hospital billing policies and financial procedures.
• Escalate billing discrepancies or patient concerns to senior staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, billing, and financial information.
