Nursing Supervisor

We are looking for a Nursing Supervisor for the Nursing department at Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru. The candidate will supervise nursing teams, manage ICU and ward nursing operations, ensure patient care quality, and support team management. The requires strong nursing experience, leadership ability, ICU knowledge, staff supervision skills, and hospital nursing workflow expertise.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Supervise nursing care activities across assigned units or departments.
• Guide nurses in patient care, documentation, medication administration, and safety practices.
• Monitor ICU and ward nursing standards to ensure quality patient care.
• Allocate duties, manage shift handovers, and coordinate nursing manpower.
• Support doctors and clinical teams in smooth patient care delivery.
• Review nursing documentation, medication charts, and patient care records.
• Ensure infection control, patient safety, and hygiene protocols are followed.
• Handle patient care escalations and support critical case coordination.
• Train and mentor junior nurses on hospital protocols and clinical practices.
• Conduct nursing rounds to monitor patient care quality and staff performance.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, OT, ICU, and administration teams.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement activities, and nursing training programs.
• Prepare reports related to nursing operations, staffing, and patient care.
• Maintain professional discipline, confidentiality, and compassionate nursing standards.
