Senior Technical Supervisor - Manufacturing

Senior Technical Supervisor - Manufacturing is responsible for supervising and coordinating manufacturing operations related to dry syrup production while ensuring compliance with cGMP guidelines and regulatory standards. The involves monitoring production activities, maintaining manufacturing documentation, coordinating material availability, conducting in-process checks, and ensuring smooth execution of manufacturing operations within the Cephalosporin block.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan and supervise daily dry syrup filling and manufacturing activities as per cGMP requirements.
• Monitor cleaning activities and manufacturing operations within the Cephalosporin production block.
• Conduct in-process checks during dry syrup filling and manufacturing activities to ensure product quality.
• Arrange batches and coordinate shift-wise production planning for smooth manufacturing operations.
• Ensure timely availability of materials for granulation and production activities.
• Maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), Batch Packaging Records (BPR), and related manufacturing documentation accurately.
• Ensure online documentation is updated and confirmed in SAP as per operational requirements.
• Prepare and maintain WIP statements, MIS reports, DPR, DMR, and other production records regularly.
• Coordinate with Raw Material Stores and procurement teams for timely material availability.
• Ensure proper line clearance procedures are followed before production activities.
• Monitor compliance with SOPs, cGMP guidelines, and regulatory requirements during manufacturing operations.
• Supervise manufacturing staff and ensure discipline, productivity, and systematic workflow management.
• Support quality assurance activities and ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Conduct training and guidance sessions for workers regarding quality systems, SOPs, and manufacturing practices.
• Monitor manufacturing equipment usage and report technical or operational issues promptly.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance within production areas.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Warehouse departments for smooth operations.
• Participate in audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
