Reception Staff

The Reception Staff will be responsible for managing front-desk operations, patient registration, appointment coordination, visitor handling, and communication support in the hospital. This requires excellent communication skills, computer knowledge, professional behavior, and patient-friendly service. The candidate will ensure smooth patient flow, accurate information entry, timely coordination with departments, and a positive first impression for patients, attendants, doctors, and visitors.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome patients, attendants, visitors, and guests in a polite and professional manner.
• Handle patient registration, appointment booking, inquiry management, and front-desk coordination.
• Answer phone calls, provide correct information, and transfer calls to relevant departments.
• Maintain accurate patient details, appointment records, and registration entries in the system.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, billing, diagnostics, and other departments for patient services.
• Guide patients regarding consultation process, department location, waiting time, and required documents.
• Manage OPD flow and ensure patients are directed to the right doctor or service area.
• Handle basic patient queries, complaints, and service requests with patience and professionalism.
• Collect and verify documents required for registration, admission, billing, or consultation.
• Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and organized appearance of the reception area.
• Support billing, payment guidance, report collection, and admission coordination when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
• Prepare daily reception reports, appointment lists, and inquiry summaries as assigned.
• Coordinate with security and administration for visitor management and hospital access control.
• Ensure a smooth, respectful, and patient-friendly front-office experience.
