Job Description
The Front Desk and Billing Executive will manage front office operations, patient registration, appointment coordination, billing support, enquiry handling, payment coordination, and patient guidance at Central United Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires hospital front desk and billing experience with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, attendants, visitors, and guests professionally at the front desk.
- Handle patient registration, appointment booking, enquiry response, and OPD coordination.
- Prepare OPD, IPD, emergency, procedure, diagnostic, and discharge-related bills accurately.
- Verify patient details, doctor charges, service charges, pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology billing entries.
- Guide patients regarding consultation, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, reports, admission, and discharge process.
- Manage phone calls, walk-in enquiries, patient service requests, and appointment confirmations.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing, billing, laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, and patient care teams.
- Explain billing details, payment process, estimates, and bill breakups to patients or attendants professionally.
- Maintain appointment registers, enquiry logs, billing records, receipts, and daily reports.
- Identify billing errors, missing charges, wrong entries, or tariff mismatch and correct them promptly.
- Handle patient queries politely and escalate complaints or service delays to seniors.
- Ensure smooth, accurate, transparent, and patient-friendly front desk and billing operations.
