Staff Nurse - Emergency Department

The Staff Nurse - Emergency Department will provide emergency nursing care, triage support, patient stabilization assistance, medication administration, emergency procedure support, documentation, and fast clinical coordination at Central United Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification and emergency nursing knowledge.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Receive emergency patients and support quick triage, assessment, and stabilization.
• Monitor vital signs, oxygen level, pain score, consciousness level, and patient condition.
• Administer emergency medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and prescribed treatment safely.
• Assist doctors during emergency procedures, trauma care, dressing, suturing, CPR, and resuscitation.
• Maintain emergency records, nursing notes, medication charts, and handover documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, ICU, OT, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, billing, and patient care teams.
• Prepare emergency equipment, crash cart, oxygen, suction, monitors, and required emergency materials.
• Report critical changes, abnormal vitals, or urgent patient deterioration immediately.
• Support patient shifting to ICU, ward, OT, radiology, or referral transport when required.
• Follow infection control, PPE, biomedical waste, and emergency safety protocols.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and calm communication with attendants.
• Deliver fast, safe, alert, and compassionate emergency nursing care.
