Accountant

The Accountant will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with statutory and organizational requirements. The involves managing transactions, preparing financial reports, and supporting audits. The candidate will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations, proper documentation, and timely reporting.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update books of accounts including journals, ledgers, and financial statements.
• Record daily financial transactions accurately in accounting systems.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections.
• Prepare and verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and payment entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts regularly.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund management.
• Assist in preparation of financial reports such as P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements and filings.
• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
• Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgets and financial policies.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
• Support payroll processing and related accounting entries.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries for management review.
• Handle petty cash management and day-to-day financial transactions.
