Senior Technician

The Senior Technician will handle day-to-day utility operations including HVAC, chillers, boilers, and compressors. The involves performing preventive and breakdown maintenance, monitoring critical parameters, and ensuring all systems function efficiently. The candidate will also maintain proper documentation and support audits while adhering to GDP, GMP, and EHS guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain utility systems such as HVAC, chillers, boilers, compressors, and air handling units.
• Ensure continuous and efficient operation of plant utilities to support production activities.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and record critical parameters such as temperature, pressure, humidity, and differential pressure.
• Ensure all operations comply with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation including logbooks, maintenance records, and reports as per GDP practices.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and records.
• Coordinate with production, QA, QC, and engineering teams for smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, and EHS guidelines.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness in utility and work areas.
• Assist in installation, commissioning, and validation of new utility equipment.
• Monitor energy consumption and suggest improvements for efficiency optimization.
• entify potential risks and take preventive actions to avoid equipment failure.
• Ensure timely availability of spare parts and coordinate with procurement if required.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and performance enhancement.
• Report incidents, breakdowns, and deviations to the concerned authorities.
• Follow SOPs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
