Staff Nurse - Ward ICU Emergency

The Staff Nurse - Ward, ICU, Emergency will be responsible for providing bedside nursing care, monitoring patient condition, administering medications, assisting doctors, and maintaining accurate nursing documentation. This requires clinical nursing knowledge, patient care discipline, emergency response ability, infection control awareness, and compassionate communication. The candidate will support safe, timely, and patient-centered care across ward, ICU, and emergency departments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients in ward, ICU, and emergency areas.
• Monitor vitals, patient condition, intake-output, treatment response, and clinical changes.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and nursing procedures as prescribed.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, emergency care, and patient assessment.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, handover records, and patient documentation.
• Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Follow infection control, biomedical waste, hygiene, and patient safety protocols.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations and support basic life support activities.
• Communicate patient updates to doctors, senior nurses, and relatives as per hospital policy.
• Maintain cleanliness, equipment readiness, and proper arrangement of nursing stations.
• Coordinate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and administration teams.
• Deliver compassionate, ethical, and professional nursing care at all times.
