Floor Coordinator

The Floor Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient coordination, floor workflow, service requests, patient movement, interdepartmental communication, and patient experience across assigned hospital floors. This requires strong communication skills, hospital process knowledge, patient-friendly behavior, and coordination with nursing, doctors, billing, housekeeping, and administration teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient services and daily workflow on assigned hospital floor.
• Guide patients and relatives regarding rooms, departments, investigations, and hospital processes.
• Coordinate with nursing, doctors, billing, housekeeping, pharmacy, and diagnostics teams.
• Track patient requests, service delays, complaints, and pending coordination needs.
• Support admission, discharge, patient shifting, investigation movement, and documentation flow.
• Ensure smooth communication between patients, relatives, and hospital departments.
• Monitor cleanliness, room readiness, patient comfort, and floor service standards.
• Handle patient concerns politely and escalate unresolved issues to seniors.
• Maintain floor coordination records, feedback details, and daily service updates.
• Support emergency coordination and quick departmental response when needed.
• Follow hospital communication, confidentiality, and patient safety protocols.
• Improve patient satisfaction through timely, respectful, and helpful service.
