Billing Executive

The Billing Executive will be responsible for preparing patient bills, managing payment collection, maintaining billing records, handling patient queries, and coordinating with hospital departments for accurate billing operations. This requires hospital billing knowledge, computer skills, attention to detail, and patient-friendly communication. The candidate will ensure smooth OPD, IPD, diagnostic, and discharge billing processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare OPD, IPD, emergency, diagnostic, procedure, and discharge bills accurately.
• Verify patient details, services, charges, discounts, deposits, and billing approvals.
• Collect payments through cash, card, UPI, online, and approved payment modes.
• Generate receipts, invoices, estimates, refunds, and billing documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and admission teams.
• Handle patient and attendant billing queries politely and professionally.
• Support final bill preparation, discharge clearance, and payment reconciliation.
• Maintain billing records, daily collection reports, and cash handover details.
• Track pending payments, advances, dues, refunds, and bill corrections.
• Follow hospital billing SOPs, approval processes, and audit requirements.
• Report billing errors, system issues, or patient complaints to seniors.
• Ensure timely and accurate billing service for better patient experience.
