Security Guard

The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining safety, security, access control, and visitor management within the hospital premises. This involves monitoring entry and exit points, guiding visitors, preventing unauthorized access, responding to emergencies, and supporting hospital safety protocols. The candidate should be alert, disciplined, physically fit, and capable of maintaining a secure, respectful, and patient-friendly hospital environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor hospital entry and exit points to ensure proper security and access control.
• Guide patients, attendants, visitors, vendors, and staff as per hospital procedures.
• Check visitor movement, passes, vehicles, and restricted area access when required.
• Maintain visitor registers, vehicle records, duty logs, and security documentation.
• Prevent unauthorized entry, crowding, disturbances, and misuse of hospital premises.
• Support emergency response during fire, accidents, disputes, code situations, or safety incidents.
• Coordinate with reception, administration, nursing, and emergency teams when needed.
• Conduct regular security rounds across assigned areas and report unusual activities.
• Ensure hospital rules related to visiting hours, parking, and access control are followed.
• Assist in patient shifting, crowd control, and emergency movement when instructed.
• Handle conflicts calmly and escalate serious issues to supervisors or management.
• Monitor CCTV or security systems if assigned by the hospital.
• Report safety hazards, suspicious activity, damaged property, or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain professional behavior, grooming, punctuality, and discipline during duty.
• Contribute to a safe, secure, and orderly hospital environment.
