Public Relations Officer

The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for building hospital visibility, maintaining external relationships, coordinating communication, and supporting patient outreach activities. This requires strong communication, relationship management, field coordination, and professional representation skills. The candidate will work with doctors, organizations, communities, patients, and internal teams to promote hospital services, support referral development, manage public communication, and strengthen the hospitals brand reputation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Promote hospital services, specialties, facilities, and patient care offerings to external stakeholders.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors, clinics, organizations, referral partners, and community groups.
• Coordinate public communication, outreach activities, health camps, and awareness programs.
• Represent the hospital professionally during meetings, events, visits, and local engagement activities.
• Generate patient inquiries, referrals, and service opportunities through relationship-building efforts.
• Coordinate with marketing, reception, OPD, clinical, and administration teams for patient support.
• Explain hospital services, treatment facilities, and patient benefits clearly and ethically.
• Track daily visits, stakeholder interactions, leads, referrals, and follow-up status.
• Monitor public feedback, community perception, and service-related concerns.
• Assist in preparing communication materials, event coordination, and outreach reports.
• Support crisis communication and patient concern coordination under management guidance.
• Maintain professional communication with patients, attendants, doctors, and external partners.
• Prepare activity reports, referral summaries, and public relations updates for management.
• Ensure all communication follows hospital values, ethical standards, and brand guidelines.
