Guest Relations Officer

The Guest Relations Officer will be responsible for improving patient and visitor experience by providing guidance, resolving concerns, coordinating services, and maintaining professional communication across hospital departments. This requires strong communication skills, empathy, service orientation, and problem-solving ability. The candidate will support patient satisfaction by ensuring timely assistance, smooth coordination, respectful interaction, and effective handling of feedback, complaints, and service requests.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients, attendants, visitors, and guests with professional communication.
• Guide patients regarding hospital services, departments, consultation flow, and required processes.
• Handle patient concerns, complaints, feedback, and service requests with empathy and urgency.
• Coordinate with reception, billing, nursing, diagnostics, pharmacy, housekeeping, and administration teams.
• Monitor patient experience and identify service delays, communication gaps, or comfort issues.
• Support admission, discharge, room guidance, report collection, and patient movement coordination.
• Maintain guest relation records, feedback forms, complaint logs, and follow-up trackers.
• Communicate patient feedback to relevant departments for service improvement.
• Ensure patients and attendants receive clear, respectful, and timely information.
• Support VIP patient handling, visitor coordination, and special assistance requests when required.
• Conduct patient rounds to understand service experience and identify concerns proactively.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior management or department heads as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and sensitive hospital communication.
• Promote a patient-friendly, compassionate, and service-focused hospital environment.
