Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse will provide bedside nursing care, medication administration, patient monitoring, documentation, and doctor assistance in hospital departments. This requires nursing knowledge, compassion, discipline, infection control awareness, and professional communication.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe and compassionate nursing care to assigned patients.
• Monitor vitals, clinical condition, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, and nursing procedures.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, and patient assessment.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication records, and handover sheets.
• Prepare patients for investigations, surgery, transfer, and discharge.
• Follow infection control, hygiene, and biomedical waste guidelines.
• Report abnormal findings and emergencies to senior staff promptly.
• Educate patients and relatives on care instructions.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and patient safety.
