Job Description

The Registered Nurse will manage bedside nursing care, patient monitoring, medical record support, relationship-based patient communication, clinical administration, and nursing documentation at Apollo Hospitals, Mumbai. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 5–10 years of experience in registered nursing, patient care, medical records, administration, monitoring, and patient relationship support.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients according to hospital protocols.
  • Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, oxygenation, pain score, intake-output, and clinical progress.
  • Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen therapy, and prescribed nursing procedures safely.
  • Assist doctors during rounds, clinical procedures, emergency response, and patient reviews.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, nursing notes, medication charts, care plans, and handover sheets.
  • Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, housekeeping, and patient care teams.
  • Support patient admission, transfer, discharge, and diagnostic movement coordination.
  • Communicate respectfully with patients and families to improve trust and care experience.
  • Report patient deterioration, abnormal reports, medication reactions, or urgent changes immediately.
  • Follow infection control, patient safety, medication safety, and biomedical waste guidelines.
  • Guide junior nurses when required and support disciplined nursing workflow.
  • Deliver safe, accountable, and compassionate nursing care.
