Pharmacist - Pharmacy

The Pharmacist will ensure safe, accurate, and ethical pharmacy service delivery by verifying prescriptions, dispensing medicines correctly, maintaining stock records, and guiding patients on medication usage. The candidate should follow pharmacy regulations, hospital SOPs, and medication safety standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense medicines as per valid doctor prescriptions and hospital pharmacy policy.
• Verify medicine name, dose, quantity, expiry date, batch number, and billing details before issue.
• Guide patients on medicine usage, dosage timing, storage, and precautions.
• Maintain pharmacy stock records, issue entries, purchase records, and documentation.
• Monitor expiry, near-expiry, shortage, damaged stock, and reorder requirements.
• Arrange medicines with correct labeling, storage, and traceability.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, purchase, stores, and pharmacy team.
• Maintain proper storage of emergency, high-alert, and temperature-sensitive medicines.
• Support stock audit, inventory reconciliation, and discrepancy reporting.
• Use ERP, Microsoft Dynamics Navision, or pharmacy software accurately where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness, confidentiality, and professional communication.
• Ensure safe, accurate, and patient-friendly pharmacy operations.
