Consultant - ENT

The Consultant - ENT will provide ear, nose, throat consultation, diagnosis, OPD care, surgical planning, patient counselling, emergency ENT support, and clinical documentation at Shreyas Multispeciality Hospital, Kolhapur. This requires MS or DNB ENT qualification preferred with 0–1 year of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Examine patients with ear pain, hearing issues, sinus problems, throat infections, tonsil concerns, voice problems, and ENT complaints.
• Diagnose and manage ENT infections, allergies, nasal obstruction, dizziness, ear discharge, and related conditions.
• Perform OPD procedures and ENT surgeries as per clinical expertise and hospital protocol.
• Review audiometry, endoscopy, imaging reports, lab reports, and clinical findings.
• Coordinate with OT, nursing, audiology, radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and patient care teams.
• Counsel patients regarding diagnosis, treatment plan, surgery, precautions, and follow-up.
• Maintain consultation notes, prescriptions, procedure notes, consent forms, and discharge documentation.
• Manage urgent ENT cases and escalate critical conditions when required.
• Follow surgical safety, infection control, patient safety, and ethical practice standards.
• Support preventive ENT care and patient education.
• Maintain patient privacy, comfort, and professional communication.
• Deliver safe, accurate, and patient-centered ENT care.
