Senior Nursing

The Senior Nursing will provide skilled nursing care, patient monitoring, medication administration, clinical supervision, documentation, staff guidance, and patient care coordination at Shashwat Hospitals, Jamnagar. This requires GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualification with 3–5 years of nursing experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients in assigned wards, ICU, OT, emergency, or clinical departments.
• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, pain, intake-output, oxygen level, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and prescribed nursing care safely.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, dressing, emergency care, and clinical activities.
• Guide junior nurses on patient care, medication safety, documentation, and hospital protocols.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, handover records, and patient care documentation.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, and biomedical waste management protocols.
• Report abnormal vitals, patient deterioration, medication concerns, or clinical changes promptly.
• Support patient admission, transfer, discharge, and shifting activities.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, billing, radiology, and patient care teams.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Deliver safe, ethical, respectful, and compassionate nursing care.
