Manager

The Manager – Internal Audit will be responsible for planning and executing internal audits, evaluating internal control systems,entifying risks, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. The requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and governance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the internal audit plan based on risk assessment.
• Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across departments.
• Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements.
• entify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies in processes and operations.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory regulations, and audit standards.
• Review financial records, billing processes, and revenue cycle management.
• Audit procurement, inventory, and asset management systems.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct follow-up audits to ensure closure of audit observations.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
• Analyze data to detect anomalies, fraud risks, and process deviations.
• Support management in strengthening governance and internal controls.
• Ensure adherence to NABH and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain audit documentation, working papers, and reports.
• Train and guide staff on audit processes and compliance requirements.
• Participate in risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in external audits and regulatory inspections.
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
• Provide strategic inputs to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
