Job Description

We are hiring an Associate for the Patient Counselling department at Manipal Hospitals, Delhi. The candidate will be responsible for patient counselling, care coordination, service guidance, and assisting patients and attendants throughout their hospital journey. The requires good communication skills, empathy, patient-handling ability, and coordination with clinical and administrative teams.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Counsel patients and attendants regarding hospital services and treatment processes.
  • Provide clear guidance about appointments, procedures, admission, billing, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing, and support departments for patient needs.
  • Assist patients in understanding available healthcare services and care pathways.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication with patients and family members.
  • Track patient queries and ensure timely follow-up with concerned teams.
  • Support patient care coordination from registration to consultation or admission.
  • Help resolve basic patient concerns and escalate critical issues to seniors.
  • Maintain counselling records, patient interaction notes, and follow-up details.
  • Guide patients about required documents, reports, and hospital procedures.
  • Support patient experience improvement through proactive communication.
  • Coordinate with departments to reduce waiting time and service delays.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and counselling discussions.
  • Ensure patient-friendly behaviour and positive hospital brand representation.
