CT-X-Ray Technician

The CT-X-Ray Technician will be responsible for supporting CT scan and X-ray imaging procedures, patient preparation, positioning, image quality, radiation safety, documentation, and radiology workflow at Vivanta Critical Care Hospital, Chhindwara. This requires CT / X-Ray Technician Diploma or Degree qualification with 2–4 years of experience in radiology and diagnostic imaging services.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT scan, X-ray, and assigned radiology imaging procedures.
• Verify patient identity, doctor request, clinical history, and imaging instructions.
• Position patients correctly to obtain accurate and clear imaging results.
• Operate CT and X-ray equipment as per department SOP and safety guidelines.
• Maintain imaging logs, patient records, exposure details, and procedure documentation.
• Follow radiation safety, lead protection, infection control, and patient privacy standards.
• Coordinate with radiologists, doctors, nurses, OPD, IPD, ICU, and emergency teams.
• Prioritize emergency imaging requests and bedside imaging when required.
• Check equipment readiness and report machine issues to seniors promptly.
• Support contrast preparation and patient monitoring under guidance where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in radiology areas.
• Guide patients politely regarding procedure steps and basic preparation.
• Ensure image quality, correct labeling, and timely report coordination.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient imaging data.
• Support accurate, timely, and safe diagnostic imaging services.
