Nursing Officer - Nursing

The Nursing Officer will be responsible for maintaining high nursing care standards and supporting patient safety across assigned departments. This is suitable for experienced nursing professionals who can manage patient care duties, support junior nurses, coordinate with clinical teams, and ensure proper documentation and patient communication.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients in assigned wards, ICU, OT, emergency, or OPD areas.
• Monitor vital signs, patient condition, oxygen level, pain level, intake-output, and treatment response.
• Administer medicines, injections, IV fluids, oxygen, and prescribed nursing care safely.
• Assist doctors during rounds, procedures, dressing, emergency care, and clinical activities.
• Maintain nursing notes, medication charts, care plans, handover records, and patient documentation.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, medication safety, and biomedical waste protocols.
• Guide junior nursing staff on patient care, documentation, and hospital SOPs when required.
• Report abnormal vitals, patient deterioration, medication concerns, or clinical changes promptly.
• Coordinate with doctors, pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, billing, and patient care teams.
• Support patient admission, transfer, discharge, and shifting activities.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
• Deliver disciplined, safe, ethical, and compassionate nursing care.
