Nurse Assistant - Nursing

The Nurse Assistant will work under the guidance of staff nurses and nursing supervisors to provide basic patient care support. The candidate should be responsible, disciplined, patient-friendly, and able to assist with patient hygiene, movement, ward tasks, and nursing support activities while following hospital safety and infection control guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist nurses in basic bedside patient care and ward support activities.
• Help with patient shifting, wheelchair movement, stretcher movement, and mobility support.
• Support patient hygiene, bed making, linen movement, and room readiness.
• Assist in medication administration support under nursing supervision.
• Carry reports, samples, medicines, files, and hospital materials when required.
• Follow infection control, hand hygiene, PPE, safety, and biomedical waste instructions.
• Report patient discomfort, needs, or service delays to nursing staff promptly.
• Coordinate with nursing, housekeeping, pharmacy, laboratory, and patient care teams.
• Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and polite communication.
• Support safe, respectful, and helpful patient care services.
