Cornea Surgeon - Ophthalmologist

The Cornea Surgeon - Ophthalmologist will manage corneal diseases, infections, trauma, dry eye, keratoconus, corneal procedures, and transplant-related care at ASG Eye Hospital, Arrah. This requires MBBS with MS / MD Ophthalmology qualification and 2–7 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with corneal opacity, infection, ulcer, dry eye, keratoconus, and trauma.
• Conduct slit lamp examination and review corneal topography, pachymetry, and diagnostic findings.
• Plan medical treatment, minor procedures, or corneal surgery as per patient need.
• Support corneal transplant, cross-linking, and advanced corneal procedure workflow where applicable.
• Coordinate with OT, optometry, diagnostics, counselling, and nursing teams.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment, surgery, recovery, and eye care precautions.
• Maintain clinical notes, consent forms, operative records, and follow-up documentation.
• Deliver safe and specialized cornea care.
