Quality Manager

The Quality Manager will oversee the implementation of quality management systems, monitor clinical and non-clinical processes, and ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards such as NABH. This requires strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and a commitment to excellence in healthcare quality.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor hospital-wide quality management systems and policies.
• Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI, and other regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and assessments across departments.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to improve patient care.
• entify process gaps and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead patient safety initiatives and risk management programs.
• Coordinate accreditation processes, documentation, and audits.
• Train and educate staff on quality standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Monitor incident reporting systems and ensure timely investigation and resolution.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to improve service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and clinical governance standards.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, and quality manuals.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for adverse events and implement improvements.
• Monitor patient feedback and satisfaction metrics to enhance service quality.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for audits and compliance.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure audit readiness.
• Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present quality reports and MIS to senior management.
• Lead multidisciplinary quality committees and review meetings.
• Implement best practices and benchmark standards in healthcare quality.
• Support clinical audits and evidence-based practice improvements.
• Ensure effective communication of quality initiatives across departments.
• Stay updated with healthcare quality trends, standards, and regulations.
• Contribute to improving patient safety, operational efficiency, and overall hospital performance.
