Technician

Bodyline Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CSSD Technician to manage the sterilization and maintenance of medical instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all surgical and medical instruments are properly sterilized, organized, and available for hospital procedures, supporting patient safety and infection control standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments, medical devices, and equipment
• Operate and maintain sterilization machines such as autoclaves and washer-disinfectors
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of sterile and non-sterile items
• Maintain inventory of CSSD supplies and report shortages or damages
• Monitor sterilization cycles and keep accurate logs and records
• Follow strict infection control and biomedical waste management protocols
• Coordinate with operating theatre, wards, and other departments for timely supply of instruments
• Inspect instruments and equipment for damage or wear and report issues promptly
• Participate in audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with hospital standards
• Assist in training staff on proper handling of sterile instruments and infection control practices
