Endoscopy Technician

Job Description:

Zydus Hospitals is seeking for an Endoscopy Technician to assist in endoscopic procedures, manage equipment, and ensure smooth functioning of the endoscopy unit while maintaining patient safety and hygiene standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare endoscopy rooms and equipment for procedures
• Assist doctors and nurses during endoscopic procedures
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopy instruments as per protocols
• Perform routine equipment checks and ensure proper functioning
• Manage inventory of endoscopic supplies and equipment
• Support patient preparation, positioning, and transport
• Monitor patient vitals using basic medical devices
• Collect and handle specimens as per guidelines
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
