Electrician

The Electrician will manage electrical maintenance, wiring support, power backup coordination, preventive maintenance, repair work, safety checks, and hospital facility support at SAL Hospital, Ahmedabad. This requires ITI Electrician or Electrical Diploma with 1–2 years of experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, panels, switches, lights, sockets, and power points.
• Attend electrical breakdown complaints from wards, ICU, OT, OPD, diagnostics, offices, and service areas.
• Support preventive maintenance of electrical panels, UPS, generator support systems, lighting, and hospital electrical utilities.
• Check electrical load, loose connections, faulty wiring, MCBs, earthing, and safety-related concerns.
• Coordinate with maintenance head, facility team, biomedical team, housekeeping, nursing, and administration.
• Support emergency electrical requirements during power failure, equipment shifting, or urgent maintenance work.
• Maintain complaint logs, service records, material usage records, and maintenance documentation.
• Follow electrical safety rules while handling wiring, tools, panels, ladders, and live electrical points.
• Report major faults, repeated issues, fire risk, or spare part requirements to seniors promptly.
• Ensure electrical work is completed safely without disturbing patient care services.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of electrical rooms, panels, and maintenance areas.
• Ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted electrical support in the hospital.
