Compression Officer

The Compression Officer will oversee tablet compression activities, ensuring proper machine operation, adherence to batch manufacturing records, and maintenance of quality standards. The involves monitoring critical parameters, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with QA/QC teams for smooth production processes. The candidate will also support troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives in compression operations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Execute tablet compression activities as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
• Operate and monitor compression machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Control critical parameters such as weight variation, hardness, thickness, and friability.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform line clearance and ensure proper cleaning before and after operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of batch records and production activities.
• Coordinate with QA and QC teams for in-process checks and quality compliance.
• entify deviations and assist in root cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• Ensure proper utilization of granules and minimize material wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in compression areas as per standards.
• Support process validation and cleaning validation activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for machine upkeep and troubleshooting.
• Participate in audits and support regulatory inspections.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
