Billing Executive

Billing Executive is responsible for managing hospital billing activities, patient billing, cash handling, billing documentation, insurance billing support, and front desk coordination. The requires good knowledge of hospital billing workflows, payment handling, patient communication, and accurate billing record management. Candidates should have any graduate qualification, preferably B.Com, with strong attention to detail and healthcare billing understanding.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare OPD, IPD, procedure, consultation, and hospital service bills accurately.
• Verify patient details, services, charges, discounts, and payment entries before billing.
• Handle cash, card, UPI, online, and other payment transactions responsibly.
• Maintain billing records, receipts, invoices, and payment documentation.
• Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, laboratory, pharmacy, and administration teams.
• Support insurance billing and documentation whenever required.
• Assist patients with billing queries in a polite and professional manner.
• Manage advance payments, refunds, dues, and pending payment follow-ups.
• Ensure all billable services are entered correctly in the hospital system.
• Prepare daily billing reports, cash collection summaries, and handover records.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and financial information.
• Follow hospital billing policies, approval processes, and documentation standards.
• Support front desk coordination during patient registration or discharge flow.
• Identify billing errors and correct them with proper authorization.
• Ensure smooth, transparent, and patient-friendly billing service.
