Job Description
The Junior IT Executive will be responsible for providing technical support, maintaining hardware and software systems, and assisting in network and system administration. The involves troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring system security, and supporting users with IT-related concerns. The candidate will work closely with the IT team to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operations while adhering to organizational IT policies and standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to staff for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing and maintaining servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functioning of IT systems.
- Support installation and updates of software applications and operating systems.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and track equipment usage.
- Ensure data backup procedures are followed and assist in data recovery when needed.
- Implement and monitor basic cybersecurity measures and antivirus systems.
- Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions.
- Assist in maintaining network connectivity, LAN/Wi-Fi, and internet services.
- Coordinate with vendors for IT equipment servicing and procurement.
- Document IT issues, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Support implementation of new IT systems and technologies.
- Provide basic training and guidance to employees on IT tools and systems.
- Respond promptly to service requests and minimize system downtime.
- Assist in maintaining website or internal systems if required.
- Participate in IT audits and system checks.
- Stay updated with latest technology trends and best practices.
