Job Description
The Front Desk Executive will be responsible for handling patient registrations, appointments, inquiries, and coordination with various departments. This requires excellent communication skills, a pleasant demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and attendants in a courteous and professional manner.
- Handle patient registration, appointment scheduling, and check-in/check-out processes.
- Manage front desk operations including phone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries.
- Provide accurate information regarding hospital services, departments, and doctors.
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry in the system.
- Handle billing coordination and guide patients regarding payment procedures.
- Assist patients with forms, documentation, and service-related queries.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Manage patient queues and minimize waiting times.
- Address patient concerns and escalate issues when required.
- Support emergency cases by coordinating with relevant departments.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and records.
- Follow hospital policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Coordinate with insurance/TPA desks for patient processing if required.
- Maintain daily reports and logs related to front office activities.
- Handle cash transactions and receipts if assigned.
- Assist in admission and discharge coordination.
- Ensure proper communication between patients and hospital staff.
- Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Work in rotational shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Participate in training and service quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to enhancing patient experience and hospital reputation.
