Warehouse Assistants

Warehouse Assistants are responsible for managing pharmaceutical warehouse operations, including material receipt, dispensing, goods handling, storage, inventory support, documentation, and coordination with production and quality teams. The requires B.Com, M.Com, or B.Sc qualification with 2 to 5 years of experience in warehouse or material handling. Candidates should have knowledge of receipts, dispensing, inventory control, GMP storage practices, and documentation.

Role & Responsibilities

• Receive raw materials, packing materials, and other goods as per warehouse procedure.
• Verify material quantity, batch details, documents, labels, and supplier information.
• Support material dispensing as per production requirements and approved procedures.
• Maintain proper storage conditions, segregation, and identification of materials.
• Handle goods movement safely within warehouse and production areas.
• Maintain stock records, inward registers, outward registers, and inventory documents.
• Coordinate with QA, QC, production, purchase, and logistics teams.
• Ensure materials are stored according to status labels such as quarantine, approved, rejected, or hold.
• Support sampling coordination and material release workflow with QC and QA teams.
• Follow FIFO, FEFO, and expiry-based stock rotation practices.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and GMP compliance.
• Assist in stock verification, cycle counts, physical inventory, and reconciliation.
• Report material damage, shortage, mismatch, or expiry concerns to seniors.
• Support dispatch, packing, and document preparation when required.
• Ensure accurate, disciplined, and compliant warehouse operations.
