Senior Executive - Quality Systems

The Senior Executive – Quality Systems will be responsible for implementing and monitoring hospital-wide quality policies, ensuring adherence to NABH and other accreditation standards, and facilitating continuous quality improvement initiatives. The requires close coordination with departmental heads, conducting audits, managing quality indicators, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation and monitoring of hospital quality policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with departmental heads for effective implementation of quality and accreditation standards.
• Educate and train staff on quality indicators, protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Facilitate monitoring and documentation of Quality Indicators (QIs) in approved formats.
• Collect, analyze, and report quality indicators to HOD on a monthly basis.
• Conduct internal and departmental audits based on defined quality parameters.
• Plan and execute internal audit programs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform regular assessments aligned with NABH and other accreditation requirements.
• Organize and coordinate quality committee meetings as per regulatory requirements.
• Prepare Minutes of Meetings (MOMs) and track action items for timely closure.
• Recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) through committee discussions.
• Monitor implementation of CAPA and follow up on pending actions.
• Escalate delays, non-compliance, and quality issues to senior management.
• Ensure proper documentation and evidence of quality improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous quality improvement projects across departments.
• Ensure compliance with organizational, legal, and infrastructure quality standards.
• entify gaps in processes and recommend improvement measures.
• Maintain records and documentation for audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews.
• Assist in preparing the hospital for external audits and accreditation assessments.
• Address quality-related grievances and escalate issues appropriately.
• Coordinate training programs as guided by HOD and quality leadership.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality culture.
• Monitor performance metrics and support decision-making.
• Ensure timely reporting and communication of quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Participate in risk assessments and patient safety initiatives.
• Support implementation of new quality systems, tools, and frameworks.
• Execute additional assignments asected by immediate supervisor or HOD.
• Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to quality excellence at all times.
