Job Description

We are hiring a Junior Executive for the Safety department at Manipal Hospitals, Pune. The candidate will support fire safety, safety documentation, compliance activities, emergency preparedness, and hospital safety management. The requires knowledge of safety practices, attention to detail, documentation skills, and the ability to coordinate safety activities across hospital departments.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Support daily safety checks across hospital departments and facility areas.
  • Maintain fire safety documentation, inspection records, and compliance reports.
  • Check fire extinguishers, alarms, emergency exits, signage, and safety equipment.
  • Assist in conducting safety audits, mock drills, and emergency preparedness activities.
  • Report unsafe conditions, hazards, and non-compliance issues to seniors.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, security, and department teams for safety improvements.
  • Ensure hospital staff follow basic safety and fire prevention guidelines.
  • Support training sessions on fire safety, evacuation, and emergency response.
  • Maintain records of incidents, corrective actions, and safety observations.
  • Assist in implementation of hospital safety policies and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor hygiene, waste handling, and workplace safety practices when required.
  • Coordinate during emergency situations as per hospital safety protocols.
  • Prepare daily or weekly safety activity updates for management.
  • Promote a safe environment for patients, visitors, doctors, and hospital staff.
